grape leaves  


The grape leaves I mentioned harvesting in the last post store efficiently as a stack saturated in vinegar in a jar with a lid. (No refrigeration needed)

I cooked some rice and lentils yesterday and spread some leaves on a big plate and then put some of the rice and lentils on each one with some spices. Then I rolled them up.

These were really delicious, just like the ones I got next door at the Greek Orthodox Church festival in September.
