Thanksgiving weekend
It's twilight Friday, and we've had three nice days in a row for Thanksgiving weekend.

I took the Greyhound to Columbus Wednesday, and took these pictures before heading to Dad's:

I've started taking the bus to work everyday again for the first time in over two years.

I can thank the $4+ gas prices from the summer for reviving RTA enough to make this practical.

Dayton, Ohio is perhaps the most economically ravaged city in America right now as we continue to slide into this depression, so I don't know how long there will still be a reliable bus system, but I'm taking advantage of the savings and the convenience while I can.

I am going to take my Geo in to Aamco Monday because I want to put a fully re-built transmission in so the car can last a few more years. (The used transmission I bought is already failing, so this time I'm not going that route.)

We had fun at Sue's yesterday.

Today I went to work, because I took Wednesday off. (There were just four of us there!)

I watched a little of the Christmas parade downtown before walking home.

Tomorrow is supposed to be nice again then it will get cold and gloomy again as we move into December.
